Math is like a mountain that looks impossible to climb sometimes, but you are on top of the world once you conquer it!
Tips for Math at Home:
Students learn best through hands-on, real world experience. When you go to the store, talk about how much certain products are. Compare certain products by asking how much more/less one is than the other. Have your child count coins from your pocket/purse. Have them name shapes anywhere you visit. Play counting games counting forwards and backwards from any number up to 120. Discuss items—which is longer?/shorter?, heavier?/lighter? Practice addition and subtraction facts. Discuss differences in numbers and putting together numbers.
